Your data is safe with us. We carefully select our partners to whom we entrust your data, and who are capable of ensuring such technical and organizational security of your data to prevent unauthorized or accidental access to your data or any other misuse.
The protection of your data is our priority. All our partners are bound by confidentiality obligations and may not use the provided data for any purposes other than those for which we have made them accessible.

9 What are cookies and what types of cookies do we use?
Cookies are small data files that allow visited websites to remember actions and settings made by individual users, so that this data does not need to be re-entered. Cookie files are stored on individual computers via a web browser. Cookies do not pose a danger, are not used to obtain any sensitive personal data, but are significant for privacy protection. We do not use cookies to identify users of websites or to misuse login credentials.
Cookies, for example, allow us to recognize a user as an existing user (e.g., when logging into their email account, when authorizing payment, etc.) or to adapt a given service to user preferences (TV programs, weather, horoscopes). We also use cookies to display so-called behaviorally targeted online advertising on the Company’s web portals and outside them—simply put, to display only such advertising that is relevant to a specific particular user, without that user being bothered by advertising that does not interest them.
We also use cookies when a user uses services we offer to our partners, such as advertising services or features of the company’s services that may appear on other websites.
Another group consists of third-party cookies (e.g., Google Analytics for analyzing traffic on a specific website or specific service, or cookies from operators of advertising systems operated on our pages). These cookies are controlled by third parties, and we do not have access to read or write this data.
As users, you have the option to refuse the use of cookies. However, it is possible that in some cases it will not be possible to display a certain service or product without using cookies (freemail, digital subscription, etc.). If your browser has cookies enabled, we will assume that you agree to the use of standard cookies from our websites.
If you do not want these cookies to be stored, you can block their use here.
More information about the types of cookies and their use in our services can be found here.
10 How long do we process your data?
We will process your data for the entire duration of your use of our services, i.e., for the duration of the contractual relationship between us.
However, we would like to point out here that those personal data which are necessary for the proper provision of the service, or for fulfilling all our obligations, whether these obligations arise from the contract between us or from generally binding legal regulations, must be processed regardless of your granted consent for the period stipulated by the relevant legal regulations or in accordance with them even after any withdrawal of your consent.
Data obtained during registration for a specific service, if it is possible to use this service even without your consent to the processing of personal data, are then processed for the duration of use of the registered service and further usually for 6-12 months after its cancellation.
11 Can we process your personal data without your consent?
Yes, we can process your personal data without your consent, but only for the purpose of:
-
Providing a service or product (fulfilling a contract concluded between you and us, whereby the contract is also represented by the actual use of a specific service without the need to sign anything);
-
Fulfilling legal obligations arising for us from generally binding legal regulations (e.g., we are obliged to store operational and localization data based on Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications); or
-
Processing that is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests (e.g., for direct marketing, ensuring the security of our websites).
12 The possibility and legality of such processing arises directly from applicable legal regulations, and your consent to this processing is not required.
13 On what basis can we process your personal data?
As already mentioned, we can process your personal data both on the basis of your granted consent, by confirming the ordered service by payment, by sending an order in electronic form, for the fulfillment of a contract concluded between us, and to the extent of personal data necessary for such fulfillment. Last but not least, the reason enabling us to process your personal data even without your consent is the fulfillment of obligations arising for us from the law. We state above for what specific purposes we carry out individual processing of your personal data.
14 How are my personal data secured?
All personal data you provide to us are secured by standard procedures and technologies. However, it is not objectively possible to fully guarantee the security of your personal data. Therefore, it is also not possible to 100% ensure that third parties cannot gain access to the provided personal data, or that they cannot be copied, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breaching our security measures.
In this regard, we nevertheless assure you that we regularly check whether the system contains weak points and has not been exposed to an attack, and we use such security measures to prevent, if possible, unauthorized access to your personal data, which provide adequate security in view of the current state of technology. The adopted security measures are then regularly updated.
For the purpose of better security of your personal data, access to this data is protected by a password, and sensitive data is encrypted during transmission between your browser and our websites.
However, without your help and responsible behavior, we are not able to fully ensure the security of your data. Please help us ensure the security of your data by keeping your unique passwords and other access credentials to our services secret and by following basic security principles. Please always keep in mind that emails, instant chat messages, blogs, and other types of communication with other users of websites are not encrypted. Therefore, we strongly recommend not using these forms of communication when providing confidential information.
15 How and when can you withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data?
Your voluntarily granted consent to the processing of personal data can be withdrawn at any time free of charge by sending an email to: customer@htcpraha.cz. Withdrawing consent does not affect the possibility of continuing to process your personal data on the basis of your consent given before its withdrawal. Withdrawal of consent also does not affect the processing of personal data that we process on a legal basis other than consent (i.e., in particular if the processing is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract, legal obligation, or for other reasons stated in applicable legal regulations).
16 Am I obliged to provide my personal data? What if I do not provide personal data?
You provide your personal data voluntarily (for some services, however, the provision of certain personal data is required to access the service, i.e., if you do not provide it to us, you will not be allowed to use this service). Processing of your personal data, often only in anonymized form, without us being able to identify you as a specific user at all, allows us to provide you with our services free of charge and to constantly improve them and develop new services. If you do not grant us your consent, or if you subsequently withdraw it, it may happen that we will no longer be able to provide you with some of our services free of charge, or that we will not be able to provide them to you in full scope or quality. However, it is of course not your obligation to use our free services.
17 What rights do you have in relation to data protection?
In relation to your personal data, you have in particular the following rights:
-
The right to withdraw your consent at any time;
-
The right to correct or supplement personal data;
-
The right to request restriction of processing;
-
The right to object or lodge a complaint against processing in certain cases;
-
The right to request data portability;
-
The right of access to personal data;
-
The right to be informed of a personal data breach in certain cases;
-
The right to erasure of personal data (the right to be “forgotten”) in certain cases; and
-
Other rights stipulated in the Personal Data Protection Act and in the General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 after its entry into force.
18 What does it mean that you have the right to object?
If you no longer like receiving occasional commercial communications or other information about news in our portfolio of products and services from us, you have the option to object to further processing of your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing. If you do so, we will no longer process your data for this purpose and will no longer send you further commercial communications and newsletters.
More detailed information about this right is contained in particular in Article 21 of the General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679.
19 How can you contact us?
In case of any question regarding data protection or withdrawal of consent to further processing of your personal data, please write to the address of the premises, Sportovni hokejova s.r.o., Služeb 3451/3a, 108 00 Prague 10, to the attention of the data protection officer.
In this regard, we would like to point out that we may require you to prove your identity in an appropriate manner so that we can verify your identity. This is a preventive security measure to prevent unauthorized persons from accessing your personal data. For the purpose of improving service quality and keeping records of fulfilling our obligations arising from the law, all communication with you is monitored.
