OUR SERVICES
Ice Hockey
At Hockey Training Center Prague, we offer a comprehensive, scientifically structured system for the development of ice hockey players of all ages and performance levels. Every aspect of our program is based on modern analysis, individually tailored training methods, and a combination of dry-land training, Skatemill work, on-ice technique, and shooting training.
Diagnostics & Training Planning
A precise analysis is the foundation of every professional training program.
We assess each player’s technical, physical, and coordinative abilities and define individually:
Skating technique
Body posture & balance
Puck control & shooting technique
Strength, mobility, and stability
Movement patterns & energy efficiency
Based on this assessment, we create a tailor-made training plan that develops systematically over weeks and months. A final evaluation documents the progress achieved and defines the next steps in the player’s development.
Dry-Land-Training (Off-Ice)
Dry-land training forms the foundation of every athlete’s development. It prepares the body for the extreme demands of ice hockey while simultaneously correcting muscular imbalances.
Our training focuses on:
Functional full-body strength
Core and hip stability
Lateral and rotational movements
Explosiveness and power
Mobility and controlled range of motion
Balance and coordinative abilities
The goal is to build a solid physical foundation that significantly improves technique, speed, and stability on the ice.
Skating-Technique Training (Skatemill & Ice)
Our specialty is the optimization of skating technique. Even small technical adjustments can create measurable improvements in speed, energy efficiency, and overall control.
Skatemill – Controlled Analysis
Perfect visibility of posture, knee bend, push-off, and edge work
High repetition rates for rapid motor learning
Real-time video analysis
Targeted technical micro-corrections
On-Ice – Transfer to Game Speed
Starts, stops, and crossovers
Direction changes and agility
Speed under pressure
Stability in physical battles
The result: more efficient movement patterns and noticeably greater speed on the ice.
Shooting (Dry / Artificial Ice / Ice)
To make a shot fast, accurate, and game-effective, we train it in several progressive stages:
1. Dry / Off-Ice (without skates)
Isolated technical learning
Grip, wind-up, hip rotation, release
High repetition volume for rapid automation
2. Shooting on Synthetic Ice (with skates)
Balance on the blades
Shots from multiple positions
One-timers and catch-and-shoot combinations
3. On-Ice Shooting Training
Shots in motion
Under pressure and in game-like situations
Multiple shot types (wrist, snap, slap, deceptive releases)
The result: a shot that truly works in real game situations.
Skatemill
The Skatemill is one of the most effective training tools in modern ice hockey.
For this reason, we also offer it as a standalone service:
Technical analysis and video recording
Targeted technique corrections
Strength endurance and stride efficiency
Individual camera-based analysis
Regular progress evaluations
Ideal for players who want to specifically improve their skating technique.
Team Trainings & Ice Hockey Camps
For teams and larger groups, we offer complete training programs that include:
Performance diagnostics
Dry-land training sessions
Skatemill training
On-ice skating and skill development
Shooting technique
Tactical mini-games
Regeneration and mobility work
Our camps can be booked by the day, by the week, or fully customized — ideal for clubs, youth academies, professional league organizations, and international groups.
